Day 1
Today was pretty much Christmas morning at my house. My Isagenix products came in!!!
Aren't they beautiful??? (Ps, they don't come with the beautiful flowers unless you have an amazing, supportive husband like mine ;) I know, I'm lucky)
So, a quick back story on how I got here. I've been wanting to do Isagenix for a looong time. For over a year now, in fact. I wanted to lose the baby weight I had hanging on from baby number one and then baby number two decided it was time to come along! Then there was the issue of money. 'Gah, it's SO expensive!' I said. "I just don't know if I can afford it...' that was a hurdle for me. But now that I have more of an understanding of what I am actually getting, this is a DEAL! Especially when I factor in the fact that they are replacing WHOLE MEALS! While it may feel like a bit of an investment at $279 for the 30 day system, I now see it is SO worth it. So now that I am in a position to be able to cut calories and not fretting over what this is doing to my bank account... (more on how that can grow later!)
I am ALL IN!
Ok, here is the part where I post my before pics... (dun dun duuuuun) [eek!]
I am WAY too vain to post these pics up on facebook. I am praying that those of you who care enough to click into my blog will have a little mercy on the fact that these are BEFORE pics and I am only posting them because I need to be held accountable to my goals and I don't want that not-so-cute ring around my belly there forever.
**I do want to mention that this is my starting weight/stats for my Isabody Challenge. I have been active in the gym for about 2.5 months now and also remained very active during my second pregnancy and, because of that, maintained a healthy weight during my pregnancy.**
Here are the Starting Stats on Day 1:
Body Weight: 137lbs
Body Fat %: 28%
BMI: 24.6
Arms: 11.5'
Chest: 35'
Waist: 31'
Abdomen: 36'
Buttocks: 39'
Thighs: 22'
Calf: 14'
So there it is. This is where I begin. My goal is to get back to my wedding day weight, 118lbs and to fit back into my wedding dress. I also have long term goals of running in half and full marathons, perfecting certain yoga poses, and feeling fabulous.
**I am only in competition with myself. I do not and would not compare my weight loss and health goals with anyone else and ask that you readers don't compare yourselves to me. Many factors such as genetics, lifestyle choices and past fitness choices affect where I am today and where I want to be. While I appreciate the opinion of some who may think I don't need to change anything about myself, I want to reiterate, these are MY goals and MY hopes for MYself. Thanks!**
So thankful to be here to watch & support you on your journey <3
